Day 1: Arrival Day

On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be personally met by our representative and transferred to your lodge in the thriving Arusha city in the foothills of Mt. Meru Africa’s 5th highest mountain for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Arusha City – Tarangire National Park

Pick Up at 0800hrs from your accommodation in Arusha Town our professional tour guide and take you to Tarangire. Tarangire National Park is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The Park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and, of course, elephants. The park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views of the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). In the afternoon we will still do a game drive before driving to your accommodation for relaxation and rest.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Full-day game viewing exploring the park, the park is well known for a large number of elephant herds that congregate here, as do many wildebeest and zebra. There are also significant populations of impala, giraffe, eland, and buffalo. Thompson’s gazelle, Coke’s hartebeest, bohor reedbuck, and both greater and lesser kudu are found here. Lions are common throughout Tarangire, as are leopards, whilst cheetahs seem to favor the more open areas of the park.

A picnic lunch box will be provided by your guide at the picnic site. Early evening drive to Karatu – Ngorongoro area straight to your lodge outside the park for an evening leisure and dinner.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Wake up very early, and drive to Ngorongoro crater floor for a great tour. Take a short drive to the rim of the crater. Soon after descending over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Ngorongoro is home to one of the highest densities of lions in Africa. Also, this is perhaps the best place to see the Black Rhino. If you’re itching to see the Big 5, in Ngorongoro you’re likely to spot the four in this one place. A picnic lunch box will be provided by your guide at the picnic site. Early evening drive to your lodge in Karatu – Ngorongoro area, arrive for an evening at leisure and dinner.

Day 5: Manyara – Serengeti National Park

Enjoy your breakfast from your Accommodation followed by the view of the area before driving to Manyara Airstrip for a domestic flight, fly to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival meet with your professional driver guide. Leaving the highlands behind, we enter the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. The Seronera Valley has resident herds of buffalo, topi, hartebeest and impala, waterbuck, reedbuck and dik dik, giraffe, warthog, and birdlife of all colors and sizes. It is famous for its abundant lions and leopards. A picnic lunch box will be provided by your driver guide at the picnic site. Early evening drive to your camp inside the park for an evening at leisure and a hot dinner.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Full day game, Exploring these vast- plains. Here the onlooker can experience one of the last great-unspoiled spaces left on Mother Earth and also experience the annual migration of over one million large mammals across the vast plains. The large population of mammals and the mortality of some to predators or disease support a large number of vultures. Later in the Afternoon drive to your accommodation for relaxation.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Full day spent on game drive exploring these plains searching for migratory and non-migratory animals including large pride of lions solitary leopards cheetah and graceful impala.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park – Fly Out

On this day after your leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for you to catch a domestic flight back to Kilimanjaro Airport for you to connect with your onward flight.
